Microsoft is now offering 6 months of $0 (no cost) access to the digital-Microsoft Official Courseware (d-MOC) portfolio of course titles for Microsoft Imagine Academy (MSIA) member institutions. This is a very generous offer for MSIAs facing disruption and challenges with COVID-19 and a remote learning content benefit that can be leveraged immediately for educators, students and staff in MSIA member schools. The offer is valid through September 30, 2020.

The list of available course titles can be seen when you log into Courseware Marketplace via your MSIA membership.

To get started, interested MSIA customers should take the following steps as described on the MSIA Member Site:

  1. Contact your Microsoft Imagine Academy Regional Support Center with your Imagine Academy membership number, provide customer contact details including e-mail and request an account for Courseware Marketplace for ordering d-MOC titles
  2. Receive email from Courseware Marketplace with account access details
  3. Login to Courseware Marketplace -- https://shop.courseware-marketplace.com/ to select and order d-MOC content resource kits

Once the no-cost courseware is ordered and received from Courseware Marketplace, the course product will need to be activated within 30 days.

Videos Now Available for Hands-On Labs Training

Group of people study together.

We are very excited to share that the first wave of Azure lab videos is now available on GitHub and can be used with your students in a teaching environment. If you don’t have an Azure account to demo the lab or showcase, these videos are an alternative to help you teach the concepts that are normally covered in the lab portion of the classes. The videos are aligned to the lab steps where possible and were recorded without audio, giving educators the opportunity to narrate and pause as needed. They are organized by course, module, and lab.

Over the next few weeks, we will continue to add more videos. You can subscribe to the GitHub repo and stay up to date as we release videos. We are also exploring additional options to add more interaction and increase accessibility in the near future. We will provide regular updates as Microsoft continues to respond to the global impact of COVID-19. Please see the recent product and program updates announced via the Microsoft Learning blog.
